When the need to find information arises at home, excellent resources are available through our school's website. From the Wilkes homepage, scroll down the gray left sidebar to the Library link. On the library homepage, you will find links to: Library search; Enchanted Learning; World Book; District Online Resources; and Tumblebooks.

**Keep your eyes open for our Junior Librarians during Open House/Science Fair. They will be wearing badges advertising their knowledge of these resources. They would be delighted to provide a demo for you that evening on a classroom or library computer.**

The Wilkes PTO is a volunteer based organization made up of parents, legal guardians, faculty and staff of Captain Charles Wilkes Elementary School. Wilkes PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in the classroom setting, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. Our mission is to foster a positive learning climate, which encourages academic and social growth for all Wilkes students.
